Honey is a Master when it comes to anything she sets her heart and mind to do! She is a successful serial entrepreneur.  As a licensed hairstylist her education includes several advanced haircutting, color and hair extensions/Weave. “You know you've gotten a really superb weave when strangers stop you and ask you who does yor hair and can I get her info.' That's her goal, for every hairstyle to turn into a referral. In fact, referrals make up the majority of her clients. Honey has done hair and makeup for local TV spots. She worked on movie sets as well as worked at her late aunt's (M, J, Allen) salon Take 1 And cut on Chicago's GoldCoast. She’s been in the business for over 30 years. Her favorite service is catering to her clients. She's here to listen and does her best to give her clients that Diva look. Although she's been a hairstylist for many years and love what she does. Her first passion really is fashion designing and sewing. She started sewing, drawing and designing at the tender age of 7. She took on the desire to learn how to sew from her late great mom. Honey watched her mom as she worked on making Honey and her little sister's matching outfits. Her mom only taught her how to thread the sewing machine. By the age 16 she was making prom, Bridesmaids and wedding dresses. Honey retired from sewing after her children graduated from high school for 15 years. But just a few short years ago she had found a new love for her passion again. Let's just say that she's got her Mojo back! Honey is sewing again and along with that she opened her Fashion/glam studio and is now offering classes to teach her skills. She aspires to inspire anyone to learn a sewing skill in hope that the Art of Sewing is not lost as it seemed at one point of time, to have been a dying skill.
